Costa Rica was one of our many wonderful stops on the Panama Canal cruise. Unfortunately we could only briefly enjoy this natural beauty for a day. The pictures below should give you a flavour of what to find in this natural gem.
Arenal Volcano National Park
We spent most of our time in the Arena Volcano National Park. The hike itself was pretty easy, but it’s occurring in great surroundings. A walkway carved around the mountain and hanging bridges offer you great vistas of the rain forest. We also got to see a tiny green and black poison dart frog, a black iguana and white faced monkeys.
